26/06/00 ALONE WITH EVERYBODY. Richard Ashcroft's debut album as a solo artist. ALONE WITH EVERYBODY enters the UK chart at number one. In addition to A Song for the Lovers, the album contains Money to Burn, I Get My Beat, Brave New World, New York, You On My Mind in My Sleep, Crazy World, On a Beach, Slow Was My Heart, C'mon People (We're Making It Now) and Everybody.
28/01/02 The Test. The track is Richard Ashcroft's contribution to The Chemical Brothers' Come With Us, a number one album in the UK. The Test is later released as part of a double A-side single by The Chemical Brothers.
07/10/02 Check the Meaning. The first single to be taken from Richard Ashcroft's second solo album.
21/10/02 HUMAN CONDITIONS. In addition to a guest collaboration with Beach Boys' legend Brian Wilson (on Nature is the Law), Richard Ashcroft's new album features contributions from such musicians as Talvin Singh (tablas), ex-Verve drummer Peter Salisbury and Chuck Leavell, the keyboards player whose recording credits include work with such luminaries as The Rolling Stones and Aretha Franklin.
