Atomic Kitten - Guildhall Portsmouth, March 2002

Myself and my 6 year old daughter had waited months for this day and now it was happening! Here we were at Portsmouth Guildhall.

It was time for the kittens to come on stage and to a rendition of "whats new pussycat" we waited in anticipation. Then the band played a few bars of Right Now and the girls came on stage for the beginning of what was to be a fantastic evening.
They sang all their hits and even some oldies which I remember first time around and sang along to all at the top of my voice.

We had third row tickets and had a brilliant view. The girls are really pretty close up and didn't mind waving hundreds of times to their fans, many of which were to my daughter who had a grin on her face the whole evening. Except when they picked three girls to sing Whole Again with them on stage and she wasn't picked!

They were filming for CD:UK which made it more exciting and we can't wait to see ourself on the telly! The girls had several costume changes but there was no awkward gaps as the band played on. It was a great atmosphere as pop concerts I'd been to before just had backing tapes it was nice to see the girls singing live.

I can say that even though I'm maybe older than the average fan, myself and my daughter had a purrfect evening!
